hi barry -
nope, it was definitely for the surround system. the wiring was strung from the wall, to the first hole, then "looped" back to the second hole - where it terminated.
at least we had some luck there. we may "test" the subwoofer wiring issue, but for now, i just told him to pick up a decent ar sub cable.
