Weird background noise on Jewel track (1 Viewer)

I've heard the song many times and it always bothers me to hear what sounds like either a dog, or a chair scratching on the ground to produce a high pitch noise in the background during the song.

The song is "You were meant for me" from the CD "Pieces of You" by Jewel.

Noise is approx a second long at the time of 3:34 in the track.

If anybody could verify what the sound is, it always distracts me when I listen to the song.

but my best friend is on tour with jewel right now in texas... i could call him and see if he'll ask her personally for you...

Well, since you're taking requests-ask him to ask her to go out with me when she hits Chicago. On a more related note-I'm curious enough to be hunting down that cd now to check.
