The Disclaimer

Standard disclaimer:All prices are taken from the websites of each chain, or from theirprinted Sunday advertisements. All prices are subject to change by eachchain. Prices and inventory in-store may or may not match the websiteprice.

I, obviously, cannot include EVERY title released in a given week inthe RoundUp.The titles included are those that I am interested in...as well asthose which I consider will be of interest to a majority of consumers(and sometimes I’ll miss one!). I don't get paid for this, and I don't have the time to list every DVD. So, please don'tcomplain! If there is a title not includedin the RoundUp that youwant to see, PLEASE just look it up yourself, and be nice enough topost and share the results with everyone!

Note that I cannot include Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club prices in the RoundUp.They set prices at individual stores based on nearby competition, sothere is no way I can say here what price you'll find at YOUR localWal-Mart/Sam’s Club location. And, Circuit City is still outof business...even in Hawaii (where they NEVER guaranteed their pricesanyway).

-At Best Buy, this week, purchase any of the new single title release of the Jurassic Park movies on Blu-ray ($16.99 apiece) and GET $8 MOVIE CASH to see Jurassic Park 3-D. In theaters 4-5-13.

--Target has an "Easter Basket sale" of titles--mostly DVD--at pricepoints of $4, $7, $10 and $13.
Is it me or are the specials a little out-of-date? :)

Spartacus, for sure; possibly Lords of Salem and Sharknado if I really go crazy with the impulse buying.

Thanks for the prices!

Let's see--do I jump on Sharknado this week or wait for Star Trek next week? My heart, which turns 50 next Saturday, can only stand so much cinematic action...

I'll be picking up Parks And Recreation: Season Five and Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Movie this week. I'll wait for the usual sale on the last season of The Office.

I pretty much hated Lords Of Salem but I would be interested in Rob Zombie's commentary to hear what he was going for.

Thanks for the prices, Mike! :)

It's a very light week for me review-wise, but I did post the review of Empire State a week or so ago. It can be found here.

Will definitely get Person of Interest once its price comes down considerably.

Thanks as always for the RoundUp!

I wanted to include the above trailer for Sharknado up in the SPECIALS section of the OP...but couldn't figure out how.

Enjoy!
I really had not seen any footage on this yet. That looks so bad you kinda have to see it. Right? RIGHT?

That's a great price on Sharknado, but I'm tired of double-dipping. CAN'T WAIT for the extended Director's Cut!

I feel the same way. It's a must-purchase in the mid-$20 dollar range, but I can wait however long it takes for it to come down to that. Same with season four of The Vampire Diaries.

We went to a theater last weekend to see Sharknado. It is everything you're expecting, and maybe more..especially the ending. It had everyone howling with laughter the entire way through!

Nothing this week, which is just as well. I need to be painting the kitchen this weekend and not hanging out on the couch for the next couple of days!

Just The Fugitive for me. The review I read on another site said the transfer is much improved over the last Blu release.

From what I hear from certain sources, Sharknado may have better blu-ray extras than Star Trek.
Totally! And Sharknado may be more interesting than STID, too!

We watched Sharknado last night on TV. It's the film that tells Internal Logic and External Logic to go F each other. :)

To be honest, it was very entertaining in its own stupid way.

Hate to admit it, but I had a SyFy Shark Night on Labor Day -- Ghost Shark, Sharknado, and 2Headed Shark Attack, plus the beginning of Super Shark.
I must say they all were outragously horrible movies, but I laughed myself silly b/c they were obviously meant to be bad. I can just imagine watching Sharknado in a theater during a late night showing with 3/4 filled theater and figure how much fun it would be.
