The Disclaimer

Standard disclaimer: All prices are taken from the websites of each chain, or from their printed Sunday advertisements. All prices are subject to change by each chain. Prices and inventory in-store may or may not match the website price.

I, obviously, cannot include EVERY title released in a given week in the RoundUp. The titles included are those that I am interested in...as well as those which I consider will be of interest to a majority of consumers (and sometimes I’ll miss one!). I don't get paid for this, and I don't have the time to list every DVD. So, please don't complain! If there is a title not included in the RoundUp that you want to see, PLEASE just look it up yourself, and be nice enough to post and share the results with everyone!

Note that I cannot include Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club prices in the RoundUp. They set prices at individual stores based on nearby competition, so there is no way I can say here what price you'll find at YOUR local Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club location. And, Circuit City is still out of business...even in Hawaii (where they NEVER guaranteed their prices anyway).

I have a question about two of the DVD releases - Leverage Season 5 and Doctor Who Ice Warriors.

You have them listed as $19.99 at BestBuy, but BB.com has them at $29.99 and $27.99. Can you confirm the grid price is accurate? Because I have them pre-ordered from Amazon, but that BB grid price is tempting (if accurate).

Sorry guys. I had a problem with the Best Buy prices. I can't remember the last week I haven't had some sort of problem with a RoundUp.

Somehow, the prices taken from the Sunday flyer stuck...but all the $19.99 prices you currently see are incorrect and just what sits in my weekly template.

I'm gonna go in and fix things quick as I can.

Sorry.

FIXED!

Sorry again, everyone. What's the point of a pricing grid if the prices are wrong???

Not sure why I am having these glitches...but am trying to work through them and figure out my new "system."

You dog! You actually had me fooled into thinking Liza with a Z had come out on Blu-ray!
I was sure to pick up the DVD when it was released a few years ago, Mark! That LP was a big part of my youth. I know every utterance on that album by heart I played it so many times!

So when I saw the cover art for World War Z...it was the only thing I could think of.

The two images are so close it really makes me wonder if there was ANY intention (maybe subliminal?) to fashion the WWZ image in the other's likeness?

I could certainly see some zombies doing "jazz hands."

Thinking about Z. Wonder if Target will match the combos, combo. Dont forget your target cartwheel discount. There is also a $2 coupon for Z in the recent Star Trek release. In other discount news Great Gatsby 3D is $20 at BB this weekso I'll be using RZ points to get it for even less.

Think they'll be stackable? Should be, right?

And then there's the further 5% off with a Target card!

There is a Showgirls 2? How did I not know about this?????

Glad I kept my Best Buy receipt from when I bought Gatsby for $29.99 less than 30 days ago! Except, according to their website they only price match within 15 days. :( Oh well.

LOL at World War LiZa!

This may be totally wrong, but I'd buy it at the new price. Don't open it. And return it with your original receipt. Price matched! That is dumb that they are dropping it that soon in my opinion.

Thanks for the good laugh with LiZa, Mike. Made my morning.

I hope to have the review for Slacker up this evening. Late arrivals from last week (Homeland, Drums Along the Mohawk) kept me from getting to it until today.

I'm also slated to review The East and A Letter to Three Wives, but those review copies haven't arrived yet.

Liza with a World War Z is classic, Mike! What a hoot!

I'm in for the 3D version of the aforementioned at Target, plus Nashville season 1 for $20 (with the $10 off Disney coupon). What a strange re-release Green Acres (season 3) is. This came out ages ago (2005?), yet, seasons 4, 5, & 6 have never seen the light of day. If MGM/Fox is testing the waters to measure interest in Green Acres, this is certainly an odd way to go about it...

Thanks for the suggestion but the receipt states their return policy is only 15-Days also. They must have changed this because I could have sworn it used to be 30. In any event, that seems like an awful lot of effort to go through for $10. I knew full well when I bought it during release week that there would be a lower price if only I waited but I chose to buy it anyway. Can't be mad at anybody but myself!

Yeah, it changed recently. Something tells me that it was cut down so they can have sales more quickly on newer items and not have to price match themselves either.

Only works if you are RZ Silver which has a return length of 60 days (I think they upped it from 45 days). The standard return window was lowered to 15 days last March.
