DVDsoon.com has Zorba the Greek for $7.50 ($9.99Ca) with free shipping. Takes over a week to arrive, but that is a good price.

I'm hoping someone will report that very answer here soon. Seems like we've always got those questions with the Buena Vista/Disney releases. Its a shame.

Finding this out may be impossible. I don't think there's even concensus on what the OAR is. Unless the dvd is obviously pan & scanned, it'll probably be a guessing game as to whether it's OAR, approximately OAR, open-matte, or something else. If anyone can tell us definitively what the OAR is for Darby O'Gill, I'd like to hear it.

Nevermind Mike, my mistake.
It looked like you had Princess Diaries at CC for $17.99 and N/A at Target.

Thanks Mike.

I'll likely get the Kino Slapstick DVDs (Stan Laurel, Charley Chase, L&H, et al) and the A&C collection.

Let's see:
Knight Rider
13 going on 30
A&C Vol 3
Black Hole
Garage Days
Zombi 2 SE

Possibly the Picard collection, not a bad deal for 7 eps!

I'm beginning to wonder if there's any reason to continue listing Best Buy here. My store charged me $16.99 instead of $14.99 for Darby O'Gill, The Black Hole, and Something Wicked.

If they are selling them at $14.99 in other stores, I'm going to boycott them.

They also refused to match the price from their website.

This is not the first time I have encountered this situation at BB: on July 6 North Avenue Irregulars was also $16.99 instead of $14.99

Gee, Larry, I've only ever seen the occasional discrepancy between bestbuy.com and Best Buy store prices in the past. That's mighty interesting!

Anyone else had similar problems?

Done! Thanks, Alex! :emoji_thumbsup:

Yes, a couple of weeks ago I was going to buy something (don't remember what), that was listed here as $14.99, but when I got to the store it was $16.99. I figured it was an isolated incident, but maybe not. :frowning:

Best Buy is only charging $14.99 for the 2 disc version of Zombi 2.:) I don't know if it's a mistake or not, but this is a sweet deal if you're into Euro gore.
