The current font being used for the roundup shows up in a big mess on a Mac. But the content of the roundup is always worth struggling through the formatting.

Unfortunately, there are a number of fixed-width Windows fonts that have no Mac counterpart (although the inverse is also true; Monaco is a Mac-only font, among others).
TrueType fonts translate fairly well between platforms with a helper application like Link Removed (direct download), but you'll (obviously) need a copy of the Windows .TTF file in order to convert it for Mac use.
Dave, you might consider using the < TT > tag to format the Lineup, since it will force everyone's browser to use whatever default monospaced font has been set (usually Courier). The only other monospaced font that Mac and Windows users alike will likely have installed is Andale Mono, which isn't a bad choice. Some people might take offense with the "zero" character, though.
No love for Apple in HTF, indeed! :D

Hmmm. Andale Mono and Terminal make it a giant mess, at least on my own screen. I couldn't deal with either of those.

Courier is a possibility. What does everyone think of this? (Same Roundup as this week's, with a different font)

Courier is fantastic. The tables are laid out perfectly on my Mac. I'm using MacOS X 10.1.5, with Mozilla 1.1a and Internet Explorer 5.2. I haven't checked how it looks on my Windows 2000 machine, but I'm sure it's fine.

TonyD, you might just be in the minority here. More to the point, *I* really like the Courier font better. Sorry,

If someone is having a lot trouble reading the roundup list, they can cut and paste just that part of the post into their own word processor.

...just a thought.

PS This is my favorite thread to read. I look forward to it each week.
PPS I got it, too: PF, JB, FDTD less $5. I almost had them take $3 off, too but they read the terms on the coupon.

It's probably my laziness showing through:D, but having the lowest price be bolded or a different color would be a big help. :emoji_thumbsup:

4100+ views, Dave! Congrats!
I'll bet a couple of upcoming RoundUps will keep pushing the envelope for you. ;)
Plus, as membership continues to grow exponentially......
You're gonna be one busy dude....along with Parker and Ron and the admins!

It's not the exponential growth of HTF membership that will keep ME busy, Mike...it's the exponential growth of the count of titles released per week that will get me closer to that rubber room...

While this is also probably my favorite thread to read each week, I'm really, really lazy. Is there any way you can just email this out each week?
(Just kidding):D

Actually, Dave, it would be really great if you could just stop by and read it to me. Sundays around 11 a.m. would be perfect. :D
