Techincally, I don't think the comic is for sale. It rings up as a penny and you probably wouldn't find anyone that wouldn't sell it to you but since it isn't for sale they won't list in an ad or on a sign. It's a give away with the DVD.

Don't know if this applies at all Target stores, but I just went to the Queensbury store, and the Jaws 30th Anniversary Edition was marked on the shelf at $5.99. It rang up at $16.99, but they honored the shelf tag. I picked up the last one at that location, but others may have the same deal.

My local Target mis-marked at least three discs at $5.99, too. I picked up Pom-Poko and My Neighbors the Yamadas for that price even though they rang up at $19.99. The disc from the Nick Jr. show "Lazytown" was similarly mis-marked, but I didn't bite on that one. The store clerks took the price tags down after verifying the mis-marks and I'm sure they have since corrected them.

there's a huge thread at dvdtalk.comabout the target 5.99 dvd's.
there is one here too in the coupon section.

at bestbuy, almost every free give away offered there is able to be purchased , almost always for 1 penny with any other purchase.
you're just not supposed to know it.

say no thanks i tought it was free.
