The Disclaimer Standard disclaimer: All prices are taken from the websites of each chain, or from their printed Sunday advertisements. All prices are subject to change by each chain. Prices and inventory in-store may or may not match the website price.

I, obviously, cannot include EVERY title released in a given week in the RoundUp. The titles included are those that I am interested in...as well as those which I consider will be of interest to a majority of consumers (and sometimes I’ll miss one!). I don't get paid for this, and I don't have the time to list every DVD. So, please don't complain! If there is a title not included in the RoundUp that you want to see, PLEASE just look it up yourself, and be nice enough to post and share the results with everyone!

Note that I cannot include Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club prices in the RoundUp. They set prices at individual stores based on nearby competition, so there is no way I can say here what price you'll find at YOUR local Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club location. And, Circuit City is still out of business...even in Hawaii (where they NEVER guaranteed their prices anyway).

Alright, I was waiting for Patrick's placecard for the #2 spot. I guess I'll be getting the Lilo & Stitch Big Wave Edition & BOLT Deluxe Edition at Target. It doesn't matter which sd-dvd you buy of BOLT with Lilo to save the $10 does it Mike? Quantum of Solace 2 disc I'll buy wherever it's cheapest (no BB here). I'll probably get it at Wal Mart & even if it's $24.99 I can use my brother's 10% discount. Thanks Mike & Patrick for the roundup.

There was some talk last week of people getting a coupon at Target for $5 off any James Bond disc. I actually went there and made a purchase a couple of days ago hoping to get such a coupon. Does anyone know any more about this?

If so, I might go there to get Bolt on BD tomorrow.

Thanks as always Mike & Patrick for the Weekly RoundUp!

Disney's release strategy for Bolt is really creative: release the Blu-ray version on Sunday (and include the SD-DVD), and then release the SD-DVD versions on Tuesday. I'd be curious to find out if this significantly increases their Blu-ray sales for Bolt.

Anyway, I'm picking it up tomorrow and so, here are some Bolt Blu-ray prices:
(Borrowed and adapted from The Weekly RoundUp 3-17-2009)

In addition, Disney has 2 coupons available for the Bolt release: $5 off the SD-DVD and $10 off the Blu-ray. Both coupons are printable via bricks.coupons.com and require the installation of a small app (which some are opposed to), unless you have already printed their coupons (in which case the app is already installed). Each coupon may only be printed twice from any given computer, and each coupon has a unique serial number. Coupon links:
$5 off SD-DVD: Print Your Coupon

$10 of Blu-ray: Print Your Coupon
In addition, Toys R Us has a Bolt promotion:
SAVE $10 when you buy Disney's Bolt (Blu-ray or DVD) & ANY other Disney Blu-ray or DVD $19.99 and higher!

Promo link: Bolt - Promotion Offer

Eligible titles link: Bolt - Promotion Eligible Titles
And let's not forget the all-important product tie-in: Bolt and Pasta
New World Pasta Proudly Presents: Pasta and a Movie
A night of family fun, starring 6 savory pasta recipes and Disney's Bolt!

SAVE $4 by mail when you purchase
any one (1) of the following brands:

Ronzoni® Smart Taste™, Ronzoni®, San Giorgio®, Creamette®, American Beauty®, Prince® or Skinner®

PLUS Bolt DVD & BLU-RAY™

Offer ends 7/31/09
Good in U. S. only. Void where prohibited.
Bolt DVD and Blu-ray available in stores
3/24/2009.

Rebate form link: Ronzoni

Key requirement for the rebate offer: Cash register receipt from your Bolt DVD or Blu-ray purchase imprinted with store name and dated between March 24, 2009 and July 31, 2009 with purchase price circled (photocopies acceptable).

So don't pick-up the Blu-ray on Sunday or Monday, along with your pasta, and expect for $4 back.
Only one other title for me this week: Quantum of Solace on Blu-ray!

Thanks for the Roundup!

I'll be picking up some Bond Blu-rays this week but I'm still waiting to see if Fry's will have the same sale they had on the first wave of releases. I believe they were around $15 each.

anyone else have problem with the Bolt link? The coupon printer keeps reinstalling over and over...

Maybe has to do with IE8 that I installed today. I installed firefox and then downloaded the coupon app. it installed ok, funny it then opened IE to print the coupon

Hey Mike,

I did get a coupon at Target that is good for $5 off any Fox or MGM blu-ray disc purchase; it is valid until 3/31. I think it's totally random though as to whether you'd get one or not at checkout.

Hey, Mr. Mike, I thought The Matrix was being released as well, any word?

Hi Ron,

The Matrix streets on the 31st. And if I am not mistaken, that will be the official tenth anniversary date of the film's release.

Also, for those who may be looking to get the Bond BD exclusive set at Best Buy this week (the one with QOS, Man W/Golden Gun and License To Kill), apparently that is a misprint. The HDRoom checked with Fox PR about the set and they said that Golden Gun and License won't be released until May.

I can't get the $10 off coupon to print. I installed the app using both IE8 and Firefox and I get stuck at the page showing the computer icon sending info to the printer icon.

Why can't they just put an insert in the Sunday coupon section??

The coupons are generated in two ways:
1. some are completely random (usually for Target branded products)
2. some are based on the purchase or your purchase history (I have a Target Visa and sometimes get coupons for items that I have purchased in the past).

Just renting Bolt this week.

I received one of those same Target $5 Blu-ray coupons a few weeks ago at checkout, and was able to use it yesterday for Twilight on Blu-ray.

Normally, I'd be all over Star Wars: The Clone Wars but I'll wait until the season set comes in a few months. And the same goes for Tales Of The Black Freighter disc which will most likely be in Watchmen in a couple months.

Thanks for the prices anyway, guys!

I'll be doing the BD of Bolt with Lilo and Stitch on Tuesday to take advantage of the $6 off plus the Disney coupon up thread. I've got the new Bond's (Quantum of Solace, Moonraker, Goldfinger and The World is Not Enough) on order from Amazon. Prolly grab the other three Bond Steelbooks I don't have from Wave 1/2 with the $24.99 each sale. And maybe Never Say Never Again...just because I'm a completist.

In other words, heavy heavy week.

Thanks Jason, Eric & Jeff!

I actually even bought a DVD at Target (and paid more than I probably would have otherwise) figuring that a DVD purchase might trigger the coupon. :frowning:

I would love to have one for QoS this week. I figure to go use one of those $10 coupons on Bolt at Target today...so I'll be tryin' again!

Wow 5 Bonds on blu this week.

Also Bolt is likely in stores now at least in Walmart and blockbuster,
that includes the sd dvd as the blu was officially released today.

The oddball Fred Meyer offers this week are:

With purchase of either version of Quantum of Solace, you get free Jolly Time popcorn and 6 oz. M&M Premiums.

With purchase of either version of Bolt, you get $3 off if purchased with any Kellogg's cereal. (Am I missing some joke here?)
