Thanks, Mike! I always enjoy an early RoundUp.

Brooklyn and The Big Short are definite rentals for me. "Game of Thrones: The Complete Fifth Season" is a day one purchase for me. It's become my tradition to re-watch the previous season on Blu-Ray in the weeks leading up to the premiere of the new season.

As usual, your work is much appreciated, Mike. Brooklyn and Carol will both be on the way to me from Amazon, and after the nuttiness of running around for last week's Peanuts store exclusive, I'm really relieved that I'm back to my normal method of acquiring new releases, where I don't have to do anything except pay

Also: not that I'm complaining, but I do find it interesting that Best Buy (and by extension Amazon, which is clearly price-matching them) chose to price Carol at $17.99 when I would imagine that Brooklyn (with a much higher theatrical gross and a nominee for Best Picture) will probably sell more copies.

The Big Short was good, too, but not something I can see myself wanting to rewatch enough to purchase.

Thanks, Mike. Just rentals for me this week. I'll pick up the Manchurian Candidate in the future.

Thanks, Mike.

I have a couple of Fox releases this week which may or may not reach me. And I'll be covering four of the Twilight Time March releases, and I'm looking forward to all of them.

Can't wait to see Carol and The Big Short eventually.

Yet another Saint Patrick's Day has come around and still no Blu-ray releases of Darby O'Gill and the Little People or Finian's Rainbow. Sigh...

Loved the hell out of Brooklyn...cried through most of it (no, I'm not ashamed of admitting that; the story hits incredibly close to home for me). But there's no way I need to see it again. Same goes for Carol, minus the crying. "Enjoyed" it immensely, admired it, was riveted by it...don't need to see it again.

Anastasia and Lillies of the Field are great movies...that I don't need to see again. I may bite on the first at some point in the future if it's on sale. Fantastic 4, on the other hand, I do want to see to figure out how bad it is; $14.99 is too high for an experiment like that.

So it sounds like nothing for me this week. Thank you, as always, Mike!

I'm picking up my favorite Christmas Movie of all time this week: Invasion USA! You cant not love Chuck Norris beating the Christmas spirit into Communist Terrorists!

Also: Missing in Action III. Now I just need 1 and 2 on Blu. Thank you Shout! Factory, you are truly doing the lord's work.

I wanna pull the plug on the very same selection of this week's TT titles, but am wondering if anyone knows if one of TT's sales might be coming up (I've got a huge backlog of unwatched titles--as usual--on the shelf right now). I'm not sure TT does a "regularly scheduled" sale though... And, even if they did, if these new titles would be included.

On the other hand, I've got Brooklyn and The Big Short on their way to me...and think I'll be swinging by Best Buy to pick up The Good Dinosaur and Sicario. :D

Just a head's up if you don't see any of the Game of Thrones: Season 5 Blu-Rays at Target: I went to Mike's Target in East Greenbush tonight, and the racks were empty. Fortunately, another person asked about it right when I got there, and the clerk said they have plenty in the back. Apparently, because the case is too large to fit into their anti-theft plastic containers, they're not leaving a lot of copies out at one time.

She went in the back and grabbed me a copy of the Target exclusive version, without any issues. Strange for a chain to negotiate an exclusive version of something, and then obfuscate things when customer's actually attempt to buy it.

Nice to see the bonus content on an actual Blu-Ray disc too. With more and more of these retailer exclusives going to digital only, this might be the last one I buy.

Amazon is currently selling the Brooklyn Blu-ray for $13.00, so glad I waited and price watch for this title.
