I was in BB this morning and they had an endcap sale on some UHD titles. 3/$50...all the DC titles (Wonder Woman, Suicide Squad, Batman v. Superman, Watchmen), Kong, both versions of Blade Runner, Inception, Kong, Fantastic Beasts and a few others. If I could have found a third title, I might have picked some up.

Another thanks for sharing this, Jason. I was able to get both Blade Runner 2049 and Dunkirk, two titles I had been waiting for a price drop on, along with Batman Begins since I only had it on HD-DVD.

So, Mike: which on are you going to watch first? The Shape of Water or The Good Fight? Since I only got one thing this week, I don't rally have to make a choice like that this time.

My schedule will dictate that. I'm in my busy time at work right now which means a fair amount of late nights...which might mean I could start with some shorter episodes of The Good Fight. But, if the stars align, I'm pretty sure I've got Peg willing to watch The Shape of Water with me--even though she says "I don't like monsters!" So, I'm really anxious to get to that one!

If it helps, the monster is actually actor Doug Jones, who is not a monster at all, but one of the nicest human beings on the planet. I've met him before and he's awesome. ;)

Many of my students have been able to meet him over the years when spending a semester studying at the LA Film Studies Center. They all rave about him.
