Mike, once again many thanx for you dependable hard work that I look forward to every week. And a special thank you for highlighting the 1930 Howard Hughes' movie "Hell's Angles". Never seen it, but looking forward to it. I'm going to watch it before and after I see Martin Scorsese's The Aviator", i'm sure it will put a different perspective on both of them.

Some good deals in this week's Coconuts flyer (upstate NY). Usual Coconuts disclaimers - may not be available in all areas, should be good at other TWEC stores (Strawberries, FYE, Specs, etc) but not always, and sale ends Wednesday. As always with them, YMMV.

Now to the deals:
Box Sets
24 Season 3 - $29.99 (after $20 mail-in rebate), same deal for season 2
Gilmore Girls Season 2 - $39.99 (no rebate needed) - beats BB's price in Mike's grid!
Godfather Collection - $39.99 (after $10 MIR), ~$50 at most e-tailers

$7.99 DVDs (most are the usual $5-6 discs from WM or BB, but there are some stand-outs which I haven't seen that cheap - those are the ones I'm listing here) - no rebate needed, limit 2 per title

Leon the Professional Special Edition (lowest online price, shipped, is $19.50(!) according to DVD Price Search) (specifies SE, likely not same price for Superbit)
Goonies
SNL: Best of Chris Fsrley
Last Samurai
Jurassic Park (CE pictured)
Pumping Iron: 25th Anniversary Edition - great documentary about bodybuilding/early Arnold vehicle, highly recommend it
(moreso for the supporting cast, including my former high school health teacher who is one of the featured bodybuilders)
XXX Special Edition (specifies SE, likely not same price for Superbit)

For WWE Fans, they have a DVD listed that they claim is exclusive to them:
WWE $250,000 RAW Diva Search - $12.99

And a misc. deal which is actually pretty cool - while supplies last, you get a free dodgeball with the purchase of "Dodgeball" (which is listed as just low price, but from its placement I would guess it's $14.99 after $5 MIR).

Pretty big week for me (by my standards):

Dodgeball (free from BBV's rental card deal, otherwise I'd spring for the aforementioned dodgeball deal @ Coconuts)
24 Season 3
Flintstones Season 2
all 3 Disney's Treasures releases

Scott_J: Thanks for all the info from the Cocounuts/TWEC flyer!

HERE'S our own HTF thread on the new wave of Walt Disney Treasures.

Let me ask this question of all you Weekly RoundUppers (?). Does anyone know why a Best of SNL has never been issued for Bill Murray. It seems like a no-brainer. But there must be a reason. They did issue "Best of" collections for some of the other early stars like Chevy Chase and John Belushi, right? Why not Murray?

Hmmmmm. I could just nod my head like I know what's going on...or I could just admit that I don't have a clue.

Dennis: I am clueless.

Leon and The Proffesional are 2 different DVD's. The Professional is the cheaper one. Leon is available as an uncut international edition & a Superbit. There is a new SE coming in January that has an MSRP of $20. That's the one to get.

I'll be getting Bourne & The White Stripes DVD.

Thankfully, nothing this week.
Thankfully, I get a nice paycheck Friday, just in time for RotK, Mary Poppins and Top Gun next week.

Still got LOTS of Christmas shopping to do...d'Oh!
