I'm not interested in those HD-DVDs from Germany, but I did get the HD-DVD of The Bone Collector a few days ago (for pennies), and I watched it last night.

I'm still enjoying my HD-DVD player, and the couple or three dozen HD-DVD discs that play on it.

So I know this is stupid and only slightly tangential to the Deal of the Week - but what the hell.

Went and returned a couple of DVDs and a game to Best Buy - crap I didn't need (I'm looking at you, Prometheus) or already had. No receipt, so just store credit - but my new acquisitions (the Rocky box set, Gremlins, Predator and T2) came up to exactly one penny under what the credit was. If I was playing the Price Is Right, I totally would have won the Showcase Showdown!

I'm so proud of myself!
