Am i the only one who hates those cardboard slip pages, like the Pink Panther set shown above? They always scratch the hell out of your discs. Its also hard to get the disc in, and out without more scratches and finger prints. I HATE THEM!

I'll be picking up 24: Redemption.

I picked up the Sleeping Beauty Blu-ray disc at Target this morning. It's not my favorite Disney movie but I had been waiting for a sale so I figured it was as good of a time as any.

EDIT: Mike, according to their site, Best Buy's sale prices on the Hall & Oates DVD is $12.99 and the Blu-ray is $19.99. I'm buying the DVD as a Christmas gift.

I think Best Buy broke street date for Pink Panther Ult Coll; I saw one sitting on the shelf of my local store last Wednesday.


No, Rick--I was very disappointed to see the WALL-E 3-disc packaged that same way.

A slow week for me however.....

I did find The Goonies [Blu-ray] and Zodiac (Directors Cut) [Blu-ray] both listed for release this week at Amazon. Are these legit? The releasing studio is 101 Distributions which sounds fishy to me.

My guess is that they're imports (like when Almost Famous was on Amazon a few weeks ago). I'm pretty sure that The Goonies doesn't have a North American release scheduled so the import is your only choice right now but Zodiac is coming out on Blu-ray on January 27.

Sure thing! It must be a weird BB website glitch because when I typed in 'Hall Oates', Live At The Troubador would come up but when I typed in 'Hall And Oates' or 'Hall & Oates', it wouldn't come up.

Wow. The prices I've seen on TV sets recently have made it painfully obvious to me that it's going to have to be an extreme case for me to spend big bucks on any new release set when you can be pretty sure the prices are going to plummet months later.
