The Disclaimer

Standard disclaimer: All prices are taken from the websites of each chain, or from their printed Sunday advertisements. All prices are subject to change by each chain. Prices and inventory in-store may or may not match the website price.

I, obviously, cannot include EVERY title released in a given week in the RoundUp
. The titles included are those that I am interested in...as well as those which I consider will be of interest to a majority of consumers (and sometimes I’ll miss one!). I don't get paid for this, and I don't have the time to list every DVD. So, please don't complain!
If there is a title not included in the RoundUp that you want to see, PLEASE just look it up yourself, and be nice enough to post and share the results with everyone!

Note that I cannot include Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club prices in the RoundUp. They set prices at individual stores based on nearby competition, so there is no way I can say here what price you'll find at YOUR local Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club location. And, Circuit City is still out of business...even in Hawaii (where they NEVER guaranteed their prices anyway).

Thanks, Mike!
Hitchcock Limited Edition for me, from Amazon.co.uk. It lacks North by Northwest, which is fine because I already have it.

That's probably what I'm going to do as well.

Not a thing here. I spent more money than intended last week in Hollywood, so it's time to get back on a budget. We got home today and I had a dozen discs to open, download Digital Copies and all the other usual maintenance they entail.

I'm hoping Costco will not let me down with the streak we've been having and also carry The Hitchcock set.

Does anybody know if Amazon does price matching? I have a $50 gift certificate there and would love to get the Indiana Jones set, but it's currently $65 over there.

Indiana Jones Blu-ray box for $49.99! That's the price-point I was waiting for. Hopefully Amazon will drop their price to match and I'll just order it there.

I'll pick up Rosemary's Baby and Safety Not Guaranteed this week. I'll either wait for a sale or see if I can get a kind soul to get me the Hitchcock set for Christmas. I've got a big backlog of titles from the last month so I can wait.
Thanks for the prices, Mike! :)

Thanks for the prices, Mike.

I'm supposed to get Ruby Sparks for review this week, but I was supposed to get I, Robot 3D and Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter 3D last week, too, and so far they haven't shown up. So, who knows?

I do want the Hitchcock films at some point, but I want to wait and see if they're going to offer to fix The Man Who Knew Too Much and Family Plot before buying. It may take months for them to acknowledge they need replacement, so I can wait. The DVDs I have will do me fine until then.

I'll do the same, except I will opt for the standard set from the U.K. There is no way I can justify spending $100 more for the U.S. release.

FINALLY going to see House of Dark Shadows! Night...not so sure.

Does anyone know if the Avengers BD/3D combo set that Target had so cheap during release week was an exclusive? I'm thinking of getting it for my nephew for Christmas but not sure if it's available elsewhere.

I believe that was a one time deal to make up for the fact that they advertised the 3D pack being available with an exclusive bonus disc when in fact only the 2D version was.

Both 2D & 3D versions had the Target exclusive bonus disc. Target had the 2D version advertised as including a digital copy which it didn't. So they lowered the 3D, which did include a digital copy, to $19.99 for that 1st week.

I think its time for me to pick up that Indiana Jones set! I'd also love to double dip on that Hitchcock set, but its a tad too pricey! Thanks Mike!

Thanks for the roundup, Mike. Only purchase will be the Brave steelbook w/pre order. I have a question. I bought the Indiana Jones collection at BB for $64.99 release week. I'm a Silver RZ member so can I PM (I think you have 60 days to) & get a $15 credit?

Target still has the combo set left, but at $36.99. Hopefully there will be SOME kind of sale going into the holidays.

EDIT: Amazon has it for $34.96 and I will be able to use my Amazon Rewards towards it. Just watching for a (hopeful) price drop!

That Indiana Jones set is tempting. I guess I missed it the first time through the RoundUp. I will probably pick up Safety Not Guaranteed at some point when it is cheaper. It's a quirky little film that's fun, but my intrigue with it is more the camera that was used to shoot it.
