Well, Craig, your post made me double check. It's actually bb.com that has the $17.99 price on Creature. The BB flyer shows the Mummy for $15.99 and says the two other new Legacy Collection sets are both $19.99.

I have amended the grid to reflect the flyer price. Sorry for any confusion.

And it is odd that they would price just one of the sets differently in the store.

Get Arrested Developement. Friggin' hilarious (!!) and it received a well deserved Emmy win for best prime time comedy show. Smart, wacky comedy (like Family Guy the jokes come fast 'n' furious) that deserves a place with Seinfeld in the annals of TV sitcom stardom.



I may pick up Born on the Fourth of July just because the non-anamorphic versions look like complete shite. Hopefully the half bitrate DTS track will be just as good as the full bitrate non-anamorphic DTS version.




Oh, and maybe Ed Wood since it's taken so bloody long just to get a standard definition version out.

After last week pitiful releases, I have to say this week is pretty cruel to me. Thank goodness I saved up some money from last week to get everything I wanted. I am planning on getting Ed Wood (what, no "Pull the spring" quote up there?

), Van Helsing (one disc, as 40 is too much for a second disc of stuff I generally seen how they make), and Heckboy Director Cut (selling the old dvd off).



By the way, I picked up the box set for Scream last week at Circuit City. It was listed as 35 dollars, but it came up 25 dollars! I don't think this is a misprint, as I heard Tower Records have it for 20 dollars.

For you ED WOOD fans, Image Entertainment just re-released their Wood titles in a box set called "The Ed Wood Box", which BB has for $34.95. It contains GLEN OR GLENDA?, JAIL BAIL, BRIDE OF THE MONSTER, PLAN 9, NIGHT OF THE GHOULS and the documentary THE HAUNTED WORLD OF EDWARD D. WOOD, JR. The Plan 9 disc also has the 2 hour documentary FLYING SAUCERS OVER HOLLYWOOD and HAUNTED WORLD has Ed Wood's first film, a western short as well as other goodies.
