Here it is for the week of 11/24

X-Men WS finished at number 1 while the P&S came in at number 4 (Seems a bit close, but WS finished #1 so that is what matters)

Bruce Almighty WS finished at number 2 while the P&S finished at number 10 (Glad for the wide margin. I thought that the P&S woulf do much better. Some of the stores I went to seemed to be stocking a lot more P&S on this title)

Finding Nemo finished at number 3

The Two Towers (I'm assuming the EE since Video Business doesn't specify) finished at number 5

T3 WS finished at number 6 P&S did not make the top 20

Number 7 lists "The Two Towers" EE (Has to be some kind of mistake somewhere if you see above. In any case it's all WS so we have little to worry about)

The Lion King finished at number 8

Tomb Raider: Cradle of Life WS finished at number 9. P&S did not make the top 20

Santa Clause 2: WS finished at 11. P&S did not make the top 20

Matrix Reloaded WS finished at 12. P&S did not make the top 20

Indiana Jones WS finished at 13. P&S did not make the top 20

National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation finishes at number 14. (Good to see a WS reissued catalog title acutally climbing the charts week to week)

Scarface WS finishes at 15. P&S does not make the top 20

Hulk WS finishes at 16. P&S does not make the top 20

Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas makes number 17. No indication on whether it was the WS or P&S verions, or a combination

Legally Blonde 2, The Matrix and the Sopranso 4th season finish 18th 19th and 20th respectavely (No MAR for any of those titles)

Hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season. See you all next week. Should be good as there were no significant Dual Releases this week. I'm pulling for the Alien Quadrilogy to do well. Still time to buy up on that set. If not for yourself as a holiday gift for someone else

can't wait to see the numbers for POTC and Bad Boys II. No MAR releases for either, and both should sell like crazy!

Great news once again! It's always good to see widescreen outselling foolscreen by a large margin. Still can't believe Disney only released PoTC in widescreen.

I know. I work at a store selling copies of it and people come up to ask how to tell if it is wide or full and when I say it is wide-only, they say "OK" and go to the cash to pay for it. Wonderful fencesitters![IMG]

Of course, I wish more studios would realize that the public will deal with widescreen and most of the time will not care all too much about it.

I'm just glad to see that VB actually followed through and removed the reference to the non-existent TT:EE fullscreen edition

Do we know if this is because of Disney or Jerry Bruckheimer?

There are a still a few producers/directors who will not allow P&S versions of their movies. Bruckheimer is the common bond between those two films.

Good news once again. It seems VB standards seem to be lacking, with all these errors.
