Happy New Year

These stats go back a few weeks. There was not another Video Business update until last night

Coming in at number 1 was the OAR only "Pirates of the Carribbean"

Number 2 was "Seabiscuit" WS. P&S only made 14. I was actually surprised to see such a gap, although I am not sure if the WS only Deluxe Edition is being lumped into the results or being treated separately

Number 3 was "Freaky Friday" Both versions are available on that disc

Number 4 was "Bad Boys II" No MAR release

Number 5 was "Finding Nemo" Both versions are available in same package

Number 6 was "League of Extrodinary Gentleman" WS. P&S was number 15

Numner 7 was "Bruce Almighty" WS P&S is at number 20

Number 8 was "X-Men 2" WS. P&S has fallen off the top 20

Number 9 was "National Lampoons X-Mas Vacation" P&S version is OOP

Number 10 was "The Two Towers" WS. P&S has fallen off the top 20

Number 11 was " A Christmas Story" Both versions are available in the same package

Number 12 was "Indiana Jones" WS. P&S has fallen off the top 20

Number 13 was "The Two Towers" EE. No MAR release

Number 16 was "It's a Wonderful Life"

Number 17 was "Scarface" WS. P&S has fallen off the top 20

Number 18 was "T3 - Rise of the Machines" P&S has fallen off the top 20

Number 20 was "Lara Croft - Cradle of Life" P&S has fallen off the top 20

Looks like the OAR only releases of "Pirates" and "Bad Boys II" are doing quite well. P&S IS NOT NECESSARY TO SELL DVDs!!

Once again - Best wishes to all in 2004

This is great news! Perhaps the studios can make a New Year's Resolution to do just OAR. Has J6P seen the light? I got Seabiscuit for Christmas and we used that disc to demo my dad's new DVD player. In the process, I educated half the family on OAR because they didn't understand it. I got the typical "Wow, that is a lot missing" comments. It was great!
