Is there any word on " We Were Soldiers" coming out on DVD.

I haven't heard anything yet.....and the title is just "We Were Soldiers."

It's rumored for August. If that pans out, we should be hearing something in the next few weeks. I liked this movie too, and am looking forward to the DVD.

This is number one on my wish list for the year, okay a tie with Black Hawk Down, heres hoping that they load up the extras on this one.

One interesting piece of trivia I noticed recently while watching Lethal Weapon 1 also with Mel Gibson...

..when Mel explains to Danny Glover character where he met his friend whose daughter has just died ..he says that they served in the army and he saved his life in the IRA DANG (SP?) valley..which spookily is the battle Mel commands in We Were Soldiers...spooky?
