My wife and I had just sat down to eat dinner on Thursday the 26th when our son decided it was time to arrive.
We werent expecting him for another month and we were caught off guard, but all is well.
Here are some pics of him and our family
Just had to brag alittle
Thanks
Earle

Hey, congratulations, all three of you!

Remarkably suspicious look on that first photo! I see him thinking "Hey, that's no OAR!"

Welcome to a new movie lover to be!

Cees.

Cees,
You know that he will be a widescreen advocate. I just wont be able to watch those action movies at reference levels anymore.
I also found that sleep is hard to come by when he came home, one night home and already down 4 hours.
Thanks everyone for the kind words, we will keep everyone updated

Congratulations! As a father of two (6 & 9 yrs) I can assure you that your in for the time of your life.
The best advice that I can think of for new parents is to ignore anyyone that says " wait tell he's 1, or 2 or 5..." Enjoy every monent cuz I'm telling you brother, they just grow up to damn fast!!
Sleeepless nights, stinky diapers, colic, its all good!
Barney in HDTV...not so good:laugh:
Hope mom is doing well!

Congrats on you boy!

Enjoy them while they are little and keep a positive attitude because sleep deprivation can make you crazy. My son is now 16 months old and we were going bonkers after a few weeks when he was born. Although we can't complain as we're going to do it all over again in June when baby #2 comes.

Kids are great!

Frank,

I'm scared of Barney, and the thought of HD Barney really scares e. Hopefully he will grow to love the classic cartoons, Bugs, Scooby, Tom & Jerry, etc.

Thanks for the words of advice

Earle

Congrats!
Had our first, a boy, on Feb. 8th. Say goodbye to sleep for awhile, but it gets better everyday. Your life is forever changed now, for the better.
Here's a pic of my boy saying "The world is now a better place, welcome to the world, Colin. We are the OAR Generation, rock on!"

EarleD,
I've got my kids hooked on Scobby Doo, Popeye, Bugs Bunny, and of course the greatest cartoon duo ever Wiley Coyote and the Road Runner. There is hope for our Country

Congratz Earle!
And that is a lovely lookig son there Rick.
Kids can be the most amazing thing, and the biggest pain :) But the positives so outway the negatives. (Can't you tell I like kids :))
Best of luck to you both,
Brian

Ahhh, brings back memories.
Just FYI, I have lost a total of 3 TV remotes and 2 PSB subsonic 6 speaker grilles. All of these were repurchased. I have had a juicy cup unleashed agsinst a 27" TV (had to open and repair), I have had the same TV shot at with a water gun (had to open again nd do soldering work). I have had legos, forks, a brush inserted in a speaker port (had to remove driver to get stuff back out). I have had a driver cone damaged (replaced speakers). Then there was the 32" TV that was pushed off its stand 3 times in total (picture is permanently distorted - this is kids TV now so no repair will be done). I have had a component rack glass door broken (I now have one door only but will replace whole unit once I move).
And that is just the home theatre.
BTW I have 3 kids (all boys) so divide this by 3 and see what you will be in store for. :D
