With "Bringing Up Baby" on the horizon, WBHV has been doing a good job releasing Howard Hawks' films on DVD, but three of his best war-themed films remain absent to date. I would love to see DVD releases of "Sergeant York", "Air Force", and/or "The Dawn Patrol" in the near future.

    Regards,

Agreed. I'd also really like to see WB release a restored, full-length cut of Hawks' THE BIG SKY (1952) in the near future.

And if anyone from Sony/Columbia is reading this thread, how about a DVD release of Hawks' THE CRIMINAL CODE (1930)? Not only is it a great movie, but it likely was what convinced Universal to cast supporting player Boris Karloff in FRANKENSTEIN the following year.
