I have a quick question on the crossover schematic for this speaker. The diagram for the tweeter crossover says the positive reciver input should go to the negative speaker input. Is this correct? I imagine it has something to do with the phase of the ribbon tweeter.

It means only the tweeter is connected in reverse polarity (out of phase) from the other 2 driver sections of the speaker after their filters are connected in place.

Thanks Patrick that is what i thought. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't a goof on the drawing.

While not able to see the acoustic response of the tweeter filter, it appears to be a 1st order, and the low pass on the midrange is a 3rd order, so it almost makes sense that you'd want to make sure the tweeter is in reverse polarity in relation to the midrange.
