As an Elizabeth Taylor fan, I'd rather have the Taylor-Burton Set that we've been hearing about, including that new 2-disc special edition of Virginia Woolf? Oh well, hopefully we'll see it by years end as stated by WHV!

I somehow managed to not acquire any of these titles before except for "Dial 'M' for Murder" (in the Hitchcock box). I might actually bite on this one.

Yes, I agree with all of you. Like I said, I'm hoping for the Taylor-Burton set to be released. I'd rather see some unreleased movies of that leading lady and her leading man than repackaged films that many of us may already own.

This is odd... so if you already have the Joan Crawford or Bette Davis box, you'll be acquring doubles of some films?

and Elizabeth Taylor Signature Collection, Alfred Hitchcock Signature Collection, Judy Garland Signature Collection. This set is just to cash-in on TCM's new book 50 Leading Ladies. The cover of the book and boxart of the set look similar.

Always wanted Raintree County and A Date With Judy

Might pass on Warner's Leading Ladies Collection this time.

Am also waiting eagerly for the announcement of the Paul Newman Collection (would have been nice in time for Father's Day - wink wink [IMG] )

I also got my confirmation that The Clark Gable Signature Collection is on its way

Reflections in a Golden Eye will be released later this year in a Marlon Brando box. Raintree County will reportedly be released next year for the films 50th Anniversary. As for the Taylor-Burton Collection apparently out later this year will include Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? and pressumably The V.I.P's The Comedians and The Sandpiper. I'd like a "Young Elizabeth" Signature Collection that could easily be several box sets, and include the films that you all have mentioned and more! If you're a Taylor fan, be sure to check out my site, the link is in my signature!

Would love to see Warner rescue LIFE WITH FATHER from public domain hell.

I'd also love to have THE YELLOW ROLLS ROYCE which contains SEVERAL leading ladies who could headline the box!

Would love to see Warner release Father's Little Dividend, either on its own or on disc 2 of a Father of the Bride SE.

It is disappointing that Warner Bros. would resort to repackaging. It would've made more sense if the set had all-new DVD releases. My choices for the set would've been:

    The Swan
The Last Time I Saw Paris- in a restored, legit release
    Presenting Lily Mars
    A Woman's Face
    All This And Heaven, Too

With an assortment like that, it would've been a must-buy!
