The answer to the question in the title of this thread has been answered by Warner's: [rant]YES![/rant]

The Wind and The Lion will be coming to DVD in 2004. There's a poll over on AOL to determine how soon in the year this release will be.

This gets even better. Hive4media is reporting the following:

"All have already been remastered for DVD, and extras such as documentaries and audio commentaries have been archived, he said.

For instance, director Robert Wise has recorded a commentary for Somebody Up There Likes Me and John Milius has completed one for The Wind and the Lion."

John Milius doing the commentary and a documentary, much more than I expected,
cheers WB. Can't wait to add this baby to my dvd collection, place it next to my
Man Who Would be King disc. :) :emoji_thumbsup:

Speaking of which, that is a DVD that could use a complete overhaul.

But back to Wind: I sure hope the transfer and the audio are topnotch. Can't wait to here that Goldsmith score in DD.

Dennis, maybe you'd like to announce all this good news to the membership at large, in the Software section. A big show of support.

"You are a braggart and a liar!"
