Warners doesn't own, or have anything to do with DEATH WISH II or DEATH WISH III. They're Cannon Films, one of the more notorious libraries now under the ownership of the current MGM.

Any of the Warner Bros. films made before 1950 will likely need some work.

They're just getting The Jazz Singer cleaned up for DVD.

I'd like to see an Errol Flynn boxset. His filmography is not represented on DVD very well at present. [IMG]

If we've got Warner Bro. attention, here's some I'm looking to buy:
SERGEANT YORK (1941) - Patrick McCart says this one will
    likely need work.
    THE DEVIL'S DECIPLE (1959)
    THE AMERICANIZATION OF EMILY(1964)
    A THOUSAND CLOWNS (1965)
THE HEART IS A LONELY HUNTER (1968)
START THE REVOLUTION WITHOUT ME (1970)
    THE HOSPITAL (1971)
    REVOLUTION (1985)

So what do you think my chances are?

I forgot about "THE DEVIL'S DISCIPLE (1959)" & "THE HOSPITAL (1971)". Two films with wicked humor. Automatic buys for me.

I just won a WS Laserdisc version on eBay. That will keep me until WB gets around to it. And yes Jack it is way overdue on DVD. Hopefully Warners will bless this "40 yr old B&W film" with a Special Edition. [IMG]
