I haven't noticed anyone else mentioning this, so if this is redundant, my apologies.
I picked up the new Wallace and Gromit DVD at my local Best Buy and was halfway through opening it when I realized I was holding a Warner-published DVD and it was in an Amray case and not in a snapper.
Did anyone else notice this? Any ideas for an explanation?
I'm happy to see it, but just a bit puzzled.

I brought this up a week or two ago when I picked up the WB-distributed "Teletubbies" DVD for my son. I was told that this is because it is a BBS title. Which means that Dr. Who will be in keepcases...yay!

    WHAT WHAT WHAT!
I might have to pick all 3 up then, I was only going to buy Spearhead From Space.
DVDEMPIRE even has it listed as being a keepcase. Great news!

All BBC Video titles (that are released by Warner) will be in keepcases (excluding Walking with Dinosaurs which is in the Fight Club type case).

Warner only act as a US distributor for BBC products, so the keepcase descision comes from that of the Beeb. I was happy to see them use keepcases when I got the R1 League of Gentlemen last year.

[IMG] Something like that.... The R1 streeted before the R2 whilst I was in LA. I could not pass up such a "special thing."
