    Hello,
Can anyone tell me if Warner is using the ICT flag at this time? I heard that they were from a post on another forum. Is this true? Can anyone confirm this? One of the main reasons I bought into HD DVD was because I read no studio is supporting the ICT flag. It would be a big disapointment if they were.
    Thanks in advance,
    Robbie

Nope, they're not. I've just watched last week's and this week's releases from Warner and they play 1080i over component just fine.

My feelings, and perhaps many others, are that things are shaky enough right now without the studios implementing that flag, and that may just put the nail in the coffin if done now. There needs to be a much larger base of hdmi capable displays than there is now.

It was promised that the packaging would be very clear on whether the analog output was being constrained. Has that been happening? I'm skeptical. You can never trust the packaging implicitly.
