I have "Purple Rain" on CED videodisc, which was already dead by then but they were still putting movies out on it, and on the back cover it says "Album available on Warner Bros. Records, Cassettes, and Compact Digital Discs"!

I had a request thread going a couple of month's ago. I would certainly love to see a nice anamorphic-widescreen release of this film. It has all been stated before. The current version is pathetic. I mean truly PATHETIC!
