City Slickers II is a Columbia-owned title and is on DVD already.

European Vacation is already OAR on DVD. It's the only Vacation movie in OAR.

Caddyshack is on DVD in OAR and a special edition, to boot.

Forever Young is a Fox title. Their DVD is non-anamorphic 1.85:1, I think.

Goldmember is a New Line Cinema title and it's already up for release in December.

Super Mario Bros. is a Hollywood Pictures title. No release yet.

All of the Looney Tunes stuff will probably come out after the 2003 sets (which are rumored to start). Marvin The Martian in the 3rd Dimension cannot be on DVD due to it being a holographic process film. In the mean time, Casablanca features a long clip of Carrotblanca (even touting it as the best Casablanca homage)

Richie Rich's Christmas Wish is already on DVD, I think.

From Warner Brothers, the weird ole guy is hoping for releases such as:
THE HEART IS A LONELY HUNTER: with Alan Arkin
START THE REVOLUTION WITHOUT ME: with Wilder and Sutherland, and
REVOUTION: it also has Donald Sutherland in it.

These are 3 that I'm looking for from Warner Bros. on DVD.

I saw the CSII coverart on The Digital Bits a while ago, so it might just not be in stock at a lot of retailers.

Marvin the Martian in the Third Dimension is not holographic! It was shot in 3-D, yes, and could easily be presented on DVD in a flat version or better yet, in 3-D using field sequential format (requiring LCD glasses like the IMAX and Ultimate Horror 3-D sets use.

Did you know that LUMBERJACK RABBIT (1954 Bugs cartoon) was released in 3-D? Or that Daffy's DUCK DODGERS IN THE soemthingth CENTURY was also designed for 3-D but never got released that way?

Warner, give us these two cartoons in 3-D on DVD and maybe even re-create the intended 3-D version of the other for a special DVD release. While you are at it, we want 3-D DVDs of HOUSE OF WAX, DIAL M FOR MURDER, CHARGE AT FEATHER RIVER, and PHANTOM OF THE RUE MORGUE also!!!! I haven't forgotten THE MOONLIGHTER, but it isn't essential! The first 2 movies were released in field sequnential in Japan years ago so we know you can do it!

Lumber-Jack Rabbit is the ONLY 3-D Warner Bros. cartoon.

The Marvin the Martian one was filmed in a holographic process (like MuppetVision) and I think it would be hard to video-ize it.

    You are wrong. Very wrong.
The Muppet film was shot in 3-D also. Projected using polariod glasses, but could also be adapted for IMAX 3-D showings.
There has not yet been a "holographic" film. It is simply not even possible to do this yet, let alone project them publicly![IMG]
It it were, you'd be seeing STAR WARS movies in holovision!
Trust me, the Warner cartoon could be out on 3-D on DVD tomorrow if Warner wanted to do it.

I second the request for the Christmas Vacation OAR DVD. This film has turned into quite a tradition for many folks and a solid OAR DVD release, in place of the current P&S version, would be a sure-fire money-maker. It can't come too soon!

Whether City Slickers II is out or not, it's owned by Columbia.
