I would love to get my hands on these excellent movies:

The Adventures of Robin Hood (1938)
    The Sea Hawk (1940)
    Captain Blood (1935)
The Charge of the Light Brigade (1936)

Does anyone have any news on these ?

    I'll second this request.
Adventures of Robin Hood is going through a massive restoration. Look for it next year. [IMG]

Add THE ADVENTURES OF DON JUAN to the list. A fun film, and definitely one of the most gorgeous IB Technicolor movies ever made. This is another Flynn deserving of a release on DVD.

Yes, I would love to see some Errol Flynn films, especially The Seahawk& Captain Blood.
Warner is also neglecting such stars as James Cagney, Greta Garbo, The Marx Brothers, Robert Mitchum, Astaire & Rogers, Cary Grant, Clark Gable, Judy Garland...

I'd particularly like to see Warner put these three fine Flynn flicks on Region 1 DVD:
    GENTLEMAN JIM (1942)
    DESPERATE JOURNEY (1942)
    OBJECTIVE: BURMA! (1945)

I saw an absolutely stunning Technicolor print of "Dive Bomber" on Cable recently. It would come up great on DVD.

My Flynn list would include most of the features already mentioned, plus

"They Died with their Boots on"
    "Rocky Mountain"
    "The Prince and the Pauper"
    "Dodge City"
    "San Antonio"
    "Virginia City"
    "Gentleman Jim"
and of course, just for the fun of it, "Thank your Lucky Stars"

I'd buy any Errol Flynn film on DVD, especially CAPTAIN BLOOD, THE ADVENTURES OF ROBIN HOOD, THE SEA HAWK(which has perhaps the greatest film score of all time)and THE ADVENTURES OF DON JUAN. Also Flynn's westerns, especially DODGE CITY(in glorious Technicolor).

As evidenced by the replies in this thread, Flynn's filmography is very badly represented on DVD. Has WB offered any reasons as to the under representation? I'm grateful that I have most of the films mentioned on LD. I really hope WB starts cranking out some Flynn DVDs.
