I'm more of a lover of post-1970 B movies and schlock so my interests lie primarily in films like The Pack and Ultimate Warrior. For the moment Warner only seems interested in Golden Age cinema

I'm sure you must have noticed that Warner Archive is constantly being criticised for not releasing on Blu-ray disc far more films from the golden age!

Warner Archive can't make everyone happy unless they're releasing ten times the current output across the different genres and film eras.

My period of interest is principally the 1940s and 50s, a few back to 1938 (Robin Hood), covers the film noir period (not much interested in neo noir), VistaVision and some other large format films. After this period most of the films I have wanted are on blu ray with upgrade to 4k happening slowly.

Argh! That long list of fabulous titles, and I don't see Two Weeks with Love anywhere!

...you get my point. Concessions have to be made. In my opinion, this would be my 'second tier' list of choices for consideration, after tier one had already been satisfied.

It might be easier to just write "everything" :) There isnt a single WAC or WHV title on DVD that I wouldn't upgrade. Some Id like on HD more than others but honestly Ill upgrade anything!

I presume you meant the 1938 version of The Great Waltz, but I would love to see the 1972 version, preferably on Blu but at least on DVD. To my knowledge, it was never released on home video. While dramatically inept, it would make for a spectacular audio-visual experience, especially if the European stereo tracks could be located.

Don’t see much love for my number 1 request…

Audrey Hepburn in The Nun’s Story
I’ll gladly second the request for The Nun’s Story. It had a beautifully affecting performance by Hepburn (as with all her roles, but this is one of her very best), sensitive direction from Fred Zinnemann, another beautiful Franz Waxman score, and excellent supporting performances by Peter Finch, Peggy Ashcroft and many others. Not sure why it’s not better known, but it’s a film I’ve admired and enjoyed for many years.

Me, too. I bought the HD streaming version so I could watch it in its (current) best possible condition, but I'm sure a WA Blu-ray would up the ante, and I want it! One of my all-time favorite films.
