When they start dropping hints every day, I think Hank will be out a lot sooner than next year. My guess is we'll see it within a couple of weeks.

Colt .45 interests me because it is a show that had two seperate leads. I'll be picking it up when / if released.

Definitely possible but they normally don't release anything after the end of November. But I think you are right that it will be soon. If not in November I would say January for sure.

Warner Archive posted an unboxing video showing the packaging for Hank and they made it a point to show they were pressed discs. Pressed as long as you don't buy them from Amazon. Those will be DVD-R.

So the show is confirmed as coming and most likely in November. They also show the opening credits which look to be re-mastered. No official release date or price has been given yet.

The Alaskans and Colt 45 - I'm looking forward to both of those along with the completion of Lawman, and Dr.Kildare.

Not sure if anyone's posted this yet, but Sam Benedict is currently available on Warner Archive streaming. Jericho showed up there before the DVD, so I assume this will eventually be released (but not remastered for HD). After watching a few episodes, I find it fairly entertaining, but not as well-conceived or well-written as its contemporary MGM production, Dr. Kildare. Some good guest stars and nice San Francisco location shots, though.

McClain's Law with James Arness has been available for streaming for a long time, but there has not been a DVD release. There were only 16 episodes. I have been hoping it would come out, as well as the final season of How The West Was Won.

Someone posted in the Lawman thread that Lawman season 3 is listed on Amazon coming 12/1. That's a nice surprise we knew it was coming but I didn't expect it until January or February. So 2015 still turned out to be a pretty good year for Warner Archive for classic TV considering the overall slowdown of the whole market. Gives me hope for lots of surprises in 2016 from them.

Speaking of music clearance, how did The George Lopez Show keep Low Rider for the Archives releases, but not the wide releases?

If anything, I would have expected the opposite, or the DVD theme song to remain on the Archives sets. But no, Low Rider is there.

    Guys,

For those of you keeping count, just how many tv releases did WB archives release this year? I'm guessing about thirty five seasons.

WBA did a good job getting it's TV catalog out there. But many of us are worried about them gradually stopping the B&W releases- there are still quite a few good shows that could be released like 77 Sunset Strip.

There are long standing music clearance issues on the 4 detective shows or they would have been released along time ago. They are still working on clearing them but since its a very long process I think they will come out one at a time when/if they clear them. So hopefully we will see something on 77 Sunset Strip next year.
