I think Frank's guesses are pretty much on the money, though I would include the next season of Alice or Falcon Crest in the mix.Perhaps one more Hanna- Barbara release before the Holiday break.James

My guess for Daktari is late spring-summer, 2015.

While getting all the other classic WB westerns has been a blast, I am still hoping that YOUNG MAVERICK will see release in the first quarter of next year, thus completing all the Maverick material.

Available 11/4/14 is the fourth and final season of Sugarfoot. Not a real surprise but it looks like there may not be a TV release for 10/28/14 unless it is an animated release or a new show.
With Maverick, Cheyenne and Sugarfoot now complete I really hope they start on Lawman and Colt .45 next year. And of course finishing Bronco next year is just about a guarantee.

I'm hoping, praying that Banana Splits will make it out to orrow. We need some HB love before the year is gone. There's only four weeks left for WB Archives for the year.JMes

Okay, now I've gotta read up on SuperGlobetrotters. I well remember watching the original cartoon of the Globetrotters. I have zero recollection of the super-ized version.

WOW!!! What happened to this thread?? I had to dig deep to find it!!

Anyone have any new information on upcoming releases??

Anyone with some sort of insider knowledge able to tell me if my most wanted show at the moment (Young Maverick) is coming out in 2015?

According to what they have posted on their website over the past month:

    1) Next Seasons of Alice and Falcon Crest STILL have no ETA. Not sure what to make of this. No releases of either of these in 2014.

    2) No news on Chico and The Man.

    3) Did not answer questions on Lawman or final season of Daktari

    4) Continued party line answers on the four detective shows.

    5) Committed to releasing the final 2 seasons of Spenser but not no time frame specified.

    6) No real news on anything new.

To be honest, I don't really know where they are heading.

Not familiar with much of that, but much too soon for more Daktari judging off previous releases. The previous gaps have been 16 months between the release of season 1 and season 2, and a 15 month gap between season 2 and 3.

Since season 3 just came out at the end of June, less than five months ago, look for season 4 to likely pop up sometime next Fall. So I wouldn't really expect them to comment on it at this point, although a positive response that it's in the cards would've been nice.

Hopefully their silence has more to do with their release timetables and being hard at work in preparing material for release, than as an indicator that the program is changing for the worse.

I think the timing is right for another Dr. Kildare. The delay between seasons 1 and 2 was 9 months, but the delay between seasons 2 and 3 was only 5 months. With season 3 being released last June, November is in the realm of possibility for a release of season 4. If not this month, I would hope at least within the next 3 months. That would most likely finish the series for me. This is one where I think the 50 minute b/w format may work better than the 25 minute twice a week in color format of the fifth and final season.

If they go with the same release pattern as the previous 2 years which I suspect they will then next Tuesday will be their last new release day for the year and they will resume the first Tuesday in January. That is probably the main reason they are not commenting on much recently.
They did mention Chico in the Man is still with WHV at the moment.

Would like to see them do more of the short-run failures, along the lines of Beyond Westworld, Maya, Shaft, Jimmy Stewart Show, etc. Amongst their holdings that I would love to see are:

    Adam's Rib - 13 episodes w/Ken Howard & Blythe Danner
Many Happy Returns - 26 episodes w/John McGiver, Elinor Donahue & Elene Verdugo
    Hank - 26 episodes
No Time For Sergeants - 34 episodes
    Mr. Roberts - 30 episodes
    Sam Benedict - 28 episodes
    Cain's Hundred - 30 episodes
