Thank you for that response.

I like DD charging policy. I hate the fact that BB charges you immediately and as thus, I try not to preorder titles from them that are many weeks away.

Are you using a CC or Debit card at BBY? I;ve never had them charge in advance for a preorder and I preorder a fair amt of stuff from them,

On my CC I get a preauth/temp for the full amt, but that falls off after a couple days like normal (I thought DD did the same). I don't get a final charge that posts on my account until after shipment. One nuisance some people do have is that every couple weeks on a long preorder BBY may ping you card again with a new temp (again falls off) -- ? to see is still active When I had a BBY Store card or used a MBNA card I could see those, but I changed to a Citi BBY Visa a couple years ago (easy way to keep the BBY RZ Elite status since all purchased count toward the yearly required amt) and not just BBY purchases) and they don't show temp charges from any retailer though I can see the Credit Limit bounce

For folks that use prepaid cards which have a longer hold period or esp if you tend to run toward the top of your credit limit or intentional use a card with a low ceiling , that can be a problem,

Now that Amazon has shut down preorders

For some love for the little guys
https://www.bullmoose.com/search?q=883929692583&SC=1

MovieZyng -- essentially Allied Vaughn storefront which makes it 2 shades closer to WAC Direct than WBShop
https://www.moviezyng.com/883929692583.aspx

Zia Records another indie store in the Arizone/Las Vegas area and step brother to Bullmoose -- totally unrelated, but both small indiendent with an online order service and apparently the websites were designed by the same person. Zia doesn't have as good a price as BM nor as big a following, but I think carries at least some WAC instore

Don't see anything at Amoeba
Nothing at Oldies.com yet

importcds -- another branch of Alliance and half brother to DD
https://www.importcds.com/popeye-the-sailor-the-1940s-volume-3/883929692583

blowitoutahere -- Alliance front with a popular Ebay store and often run 15-20% promotions. Less useful now that Ebay seems to have quit having those 15 and 20% codes every few weeks

And still nothing to report on Best Buy or Walmart's or Target's websites pertaining to this title.

But they don't seem to have ALL the September WAC releases up yet, nor do they have the August releases yet. I hope that maybe tomorrow at the earliest we might find out what the situation is with Best Buy, anyways.

You have to spend at least $25. I added POPEYE to my cart and I was charged shipping.

Today? Maybe I misread the promotion, but I thought there was a Labor Day promotion with FS on all orders.

I used an old account to sign in (no RZ status) and I'm not seeing a shipping charge for an $18 order and I went to the last checkout screen. I might suggest running the cart again and see if something has changed since you placed the order.
Normal BBY FS is $35

EDIT: went back and read the promo. FS for all MYBESTBUY members which mean you have to at least sign up for the Reward Zone status. It sounds like even with 0 points you should qualify. I didn't realize you could have a BBY account and not actually be signed up for MYBESTBUY automatically, but I guess there is at least a signup required.

David,

So which of these would be fastest to receive The Jetsons Complete series blu-ray set? Or would that be the WB Shop?

Thanks in advance for the info.

Bullmoose would be my choice out of that group. B&N, but I wouldn't order until after release day so I could add a 15% off code. I never really expect release day delivery on these Allied Vaughn items. BBY would have been my 1st choice, but they don't appear to have The Jetsons. I can always find an extra item to get FS at Bullmoose and I've already got FS at BBY and B&N

I never order from WBShop due to the $6 S&H fee for a single title -- virtually nothing is worth that (tor me) and I'd rather wait a week if it comes down to it rather than pay $40 instead of $23.

DiabolikDVD often ships things 7-10 days ahead of street ($5 flat rate shipping), but they only carry certain WAC items and I don't see any of the animated titles there.

The bungling of Volume 2's release hasn't deterred people from ordering from Amazon apparently. It's currently at #111 for Movies and TV.

I'm going to keep buying these until the end. The copies that Cartoon Network aired for years (and are on the Boomerang app now) are so terrible and faded that seeing them restored completely changes the viewing experience.

I might be going for the option at Best Buy or Bullmoose as Walmart still hasn't listed it on their website as of this writing.
