The barcodes with "Manufactured by Amazon.com/Lexington KY" written above them.
Some new titles from Warner Archive will appear in the next few days:
The Richest Girl in the World (1934).
Fight for Your Lady (1937)
A Girl in Every Port (1958)
Ladies of the Jury (1932)
Millionaires in Prison (1940)
Smart Woman (1931)
Wanted: Jane Turner (1936)
I was happy to see the two new Lee Tracy films being release by WBA . Already ordered both . Should get them tomorrow .
4 for $44 sale with free shipping going on right now.
I would love to bite on some of these, but I've spent a small fortune between the Disney Movie Club, Screen Archives and Twilight Time this month. Next time!
How fiscally prudent of you!
I need to fix that.
How surprisingly fiscally prudent of you!
If you are being fiscally prudent, stay away from importcds, today. All the Warner Archives pre-orders for April are listed as $1,094.53 or $1,144.58, each!!!
Yes and it includes 62 blu rays. You can go beyond 4 titles in the sale. I just got the Blu Rays of: To Have and Have not, Dark Passage, Time after Time, Man in the Wilderness, Gypsy and Its always Fair Weather for $66.00 plus free shipping
Pretty much same here - between the Twilight Time sale, the Criterion flash sale, and the fact that this sale doesn't include any of the 2017 releases and I can sit it out. If they included the January and February titles I would have been all over it.
There are only 2 Blus in that sale that I don't already have and want. In order to participate I would have to sell myself on two more Blu-rays that I don't particularly want, like possibly Doc Savage, Time After Time, or The Hunger.
Any news for June 2017 titles?
WAC hasn't updated its webpage for preorders past May 23. Someone found a HONDO [TV] series announcement at VideoETA, but that's the only news I've read.
Although not yet listed on the WB site, here are the titles supposedly coming in June on Blu:
The Ballad Of Cable Hogue ('70)
The Gumball Rally ('76)
Running On Empty ('88)
Joe Versus The Volcano ('90)
WOW! I check HTF once or twice a week, haven't seen any updates for WA for awhile, had totally forgotten about them.
They're listed now (except for Joe)at 30% off
Come on, how many times to I have to say, "Where is SHE LOVED A FIREMAN?"
Anyone know why the MOD DVD of Protocol (1984) with Goldie Hawn is listed as 4x3 full frame (Original Aspect Ratio)? I'm aware that the old dvd was full frame, but lately when they have been re-releasing films in the WAC and the previous dvd was full frame, they make sure to release it in OAR the second time around. Protocol also has a widescreen HD master, so simply using the old master when it is MAR is baffling. It even says on the back of the box modified from the original aspect ratio.
Even more troubling is that when I asked a question a few weeks ago on the WAC facebook page they deleted my post. This seems to be their MO as of late if they don't like some questions. I'm hoping this is a typo as this is one of the titles I have been requesting to get re-released in widescreen for quite some time.
In a spot of good news, the WAC site on the WBSHOP has listed the June titles. They are all re-releases of past releases, many of them previously in box sets. The good news is that there are four widescreen re-releases with the titles now listed as widescreen being: Power (1986), The Betsy, Alaska (1996), and Dead-Bang (1989). If they are willing to re-do those for widescreen, why not Protocol? Any ideas?

Mark, the product description at WBSHOP is a mistake for PROTOCOL
The email WAC send out yesterday advertises PROTOCOL as "First Time In Widescreen." "Newly mastered in the original 1.78:1 aspect ratio".
Is this the future of WA,rereleasing out of print titles? At least sprinkle in several new titles a month, barely nothing so far this year.
My favorite part of Warner Archives was the classic gems never available on dvd before . As the last year has passed by there have been fewer and fewer of these titles . There are still so many more they could release . I hope they are not abandoning those movies for rereleases . I'm very happy with upgrading the old Wac titles with blurays . But at least, like other posters have said, keep those never on dvd movies coming . Even if at a slower rate then before .
