A couple of years ago, Paramount was talking about an Elvis Blu-ray box set. I know Kino- Lorber was trying to license some titles for release, but all has gone quiet, Paramount no longer answers questions about Elvis on BD. They won’t license them out to a third party and won’t release them.
Meanwhile, George Feltenstein at WB has said sales of Elvis on Blu-ray have been good, so expect more to be released. I like Nancy too, so a Speedway release would be great!
Which is such a shame.
Left owned by paramount:

GI Blues - I don’t know why exactly but I’ve always thought this wasn’t better than average. It seemed more aligned with a Frank Sinatra/Bing Crosby musical of 15 years earlier. Mediocre soundtrack, extremely well-sung. This film was his second biggest hit pre-1964 right behind Blue Hawaii.

Girls Girls Girls - excellent soundtrack, was always hoping they’d fix the titles, as they did with Blue Hawaii

Fun in Acapulco - a favorite, but have always thought an HD scan might highlight the obvious rear-projection. (Elvis didn’t travel to Mexico)

Roustabout - best of this list. Would look fantastic on Blu-ray or even better 4k.

These two can stay in the can, on par with Harum Scarum:

Paradise Hawaiian Style
Easy Come Easy Go

I agree with most of what you wrote, but I’d like them all on Blu-ray.

I didn’t realize this was released way back in July. I would have thought we would have gotten at least one Elvis film on Blu-ray from Warner Archives since then. But I realize WBA has tons of things to release and a limited number they can unleash on the market at any given time! I understand the the Elvis films sell in pretty good numbers. Maybe they’re waiting for an anniversary or the release of Baz
Lurman’s upcoming Elvis documentary?
Meanwhile, the lack of anything from Paramount is puzzling.

I would like to see Spinout and Girl Happy from WB. Any Paramount titles would be nice with G!G!G! and Roustabout on the top of the list for me.

All four of those Elvis films would be nice to have in hi-def on Blu-ray.
