Hi David. Thanks for the note. Regarding EU, the delay is due to having to get all the pre-paid VAT collecting in place. This was due to the EU changing their VAT requirements last year. We're testing things this month. I hope to have EU activated by end of September and in time for our next big Archive sale. We don't have one scheduled, but am hopeful we'll get the needed support from WB to do another one. Will keep you posted.

And another hope that some point you can arrange a sale for the MultiDisc sets at some point. I'm just about caught up on single disc BD, but there are several of the TV sets I'm hoping to pick up at some point, but $25-30+ price points definitely keep me waiting. The 2 recent Lucifer sets and latest Young Sheldon are sitting in my wishlists

Don't know if you have any pull or input directly to Warner, but there are quite a few folks who were devastated when Warner yanked the Disc output of the last couple seasons of iZombie, The Final Season of The Originals, S10 and 11 of Shameless, etc. It really really leaves a bad taste to collect S1-5 (or 9 like Shameless) of a series then be stranded. I can sort of understand not starting a series on disc these days, but to stop right before the conclusion of a long running series truly hurt.

And yes -- I do see a bit of a relationship between paragraph 1 and 2

Thanks for the note, David. I manage Movie Zyng. The sort function problem is only affecting the promotional page listing the 1521 titles on the sale. That said, it needs to work properly. I'm working with the software support team to get it corrected.

Hi ModFather,

I can't access the WB sale, When I try this link https://www.moviezyng.com/warner, it takes me to a page that says "resource not found," and the link in the first post just doesn't work at all. Do you (or anyone else) have any suggestions?

Thanks!

I'm not having an issue with the link in the OP though it's possible since I've been there it's pulling up a cached page, but you can try this instead if the link in Alex's post isn't working. Sometimes the referral links the forums add cause problems

or cut/paste this string without using a link --- moviezyng.com/warner-august-4-for-49

Last resort, just go to the link in the 1st post, click Shop for More Movies, Filter to Warner
this will be all the Warner, not just the sale items, but MOST of the 17.99-21.99 items released before June 30 will be part of the sale -- just check the prices if you make a cart to see if the discount is for everythign

Then why bring it up? A Manufactured on Demand pressed Blu-ray isn’t an issue.
Why is only Show Boat listed as MOD in the first place? Surely it sells more than many if not most of those titles listed. And looks like the only one I saw. And not concerned about the disc itself but the cover insert sleeve print quality.

They probably depleted the initial batch of Blu-rays. That title was released about 18 months ago. They now produce smaller batches to meet demand without having excessive inventory.

I hadn't noticed, but sometime in the last few months they changed the listings. All of them used to have that label.

Even more confused -- I just looked at Show Boat and I'm not seeing it on the description. Where is it mentioned now?

I had neglected to get Show Boat when I first saw it when it was released, and the local Movie Trading Company didn’t have any in stock after their initial batch. Glad I waited so I could take advantage of the savings from this sale. Some I ordered are upgraded from DVD like Wait Until Dark, The Wind and the Lion, Annie Get Your Gun; some have been on my want list for awhile like Bad Day at Black Rock; some are just whimsical, sentimental remnants of my adolescence like Two on a Guillotine; others I hadn’t realized were released on Blu-ray like Six by Sondheim. Very pleased with the variety available to order.

As usual, a day late and a dollar short. I was waiting for an upcoming sale. Have several titles I want. Well maybe next time.
