I'm looking for a pair of FRS radios.
Must have 14 channels and 38 subchannels/codes.

Check your local Lowe's. They're clearing out the old Motorola models. I just picked up a model 280 (the small one that can accept optional rechargeable Ni-MH battery) for $40 plus a $20 rebate! That's $20 for a radio that originally sold for $150 - $200.

That's a very good price, but I don't think there is Lowe in Canada - is anybody willing to pick-up a pair and ship it up here?

Well, you might still watch for ads in the Sunday paper. Maybe other stores are clearing out their old Motorolas as well. I got the last one from my Lowes.
