I need to divide up a lengthy mp3 file into a smaller set of tracks. I only have the one task to do, so I really only need a freeware program. Any suggestions, please?
If anyone is looking for the same kind of program, but for WAVs not MP3s:
To perfectly slice up a large wav file into many smaller wav files, the free program that is best is CDWave (click here).
It slices exactly where files should be sliced so there will never be a slight "pop" sound between tracks, as there is on ham-handed programs that do not pay attention to that kind of exacting detail.
