hey guys
i want to put together my first HT my budget is $1000
i want to purchase a projector and a surround system
i will only be using this for dvds

what do you guys think would be the best buy to keep me in my budget??
what is the best surround sytem for my money $200-$250?

you might want to up the Budget a bit.

That is definitely a low budget for a projector and surround system. Any surround system for $200-$250 will sound like crap and be a waste of money.

There's a member on this forum selling a great 720p projector for $475. That would be a great place to start, and not eat up too much of your budget.
