Disney, please consider for a future release, a grouping of

your animated shorts on space travel and speculations of what the world would look like in the future. I really enjoyed those when I was a little type back in the late 50's and early 60's on your television programs back then.

Thanks for the first four treasures, my boys enjoyed the

early Mickey Mouse shorts and Davy Crockett.

I purchased the Mickey Mouse, Silly Symphonies, and Disneyland USA sets (I didn't really want the Davy Crockett set...) and they're all great.

Here's some sets I'd definately shell out 29 bucks for:

Mickey Mouse in Glorious Black & White (perhaps 2 volumes since there's roughly 70+ shorts)

Donald Duck (Collection of Donald cartoons)

    Goofy (Collection of Goofy cartoons)

Silly Symphonies II (more Silly Symphonies)

The Disney Studio Goes To War (Collection of WWII animation produced by the Disney studio. Includes Victory Through Air Power, Der Furher's Face, and all the other wartime films they produced.)

I'd also like to see box sets of the Zorro series.

Suggestions from a Disney nostalgia junkie...

**A collection of shows about EPCOT--the conception by Walt, construction, ride throughs of lost attractions, concept art, archival audio commentary/interview tracks by Walt and other key designers

**Same for the WDW Magic Kingdom, and WDW resort in general

**True Life Adventures, maybe 4 or 5 episodes a set

**This would be really cool...a set of the old no longer used Circlevision 360 films using multiple angles to switch perspectives...not sure if this would be viable technically but it sure would be great

Jeff - great suggestions. I would LOVE to have documentaries that included footage of the construction of both WDW and Epcot, as well as footage detailing the fully realized exhibits. A DVD counterpart to the laser box set of MICKEY MOUSE: THE BLACK AND WHITE YEARS would be welcome indeed. I have nothing but compliments for Disney since about a year ago, before which I was one of their biggest detractors regarding DVD. Lately they have provided us with the finest special editions imaginable.

Disneyland USA II: featuring the openings of: The Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, Star Tours, Captain EO, Space Mountain, Toon Town, Electrical Light Parade, Fantasmic, Indiana Jones Adventure, etc... I would like to see ride-throughs of many of the attractions, something the Disneyland USA disc didn't even touch upon. Perhaps include the Major Effects TV special that came out around the time Black Hole hit theatres.

Rob, was there really an Ernest featurette on Splash Mountain? I would've loved to see that.

All good suggestions, but I must put in this stipulation:

RESTORED, UNCUT, and UNCENCORED. Thank you.

I too would want to see Disneyland USA 2 explore the different rides and video while riding the rides. Like Pirates's of the Caribean, Splash mountain, Haunted Mansion, Space Mountain, some different fantasy rides like, Peter pan, Mr. Toad's wild ride. Explore Tom Sawyer's island, and many more.

I would be first in line to purchase a dvd like this.

    Thanks,

    Greg

For some odd reason, I'd really like The Swamp Fox series. Short enough for a Disney Treasure release, I think.

Yes, it would be great to have at least the best of the True Life Adventures on DVD, but UNCUT...the VHS release a few years back of LIVING DESERT was severely edited (from 75 minutes to a little over an hour). If we could get that one, AFRICAN LION; WHITE WILDERNESS, VALISHING PRAIRIE and any others than won Oscars, that would be a marvelous set! Leonard Malton, you there? (Mr. Maltin was apparently instrumental in getting the first four in this series out). I will say this: judging from the aforementioned VHS releases of these titles, they will require some serious cleaning if not image restoration...the picture was horribly pocked with dirt and specks on several of them.

How about a Treasures tin of the restored 100% uncut, and uncensored The Three Caballeros and Saludos Amigos together (the present DVDs are a travesty)?

Supplements used on the Archive Collection laserdisc to include:

Complete documentary "South of the Border With Disney."

Live action footage for animation reference.

    Storyboards for deleted scenes.

    Conceptual drawings and paintings.

    Original theatrical trailers.

Original publicity like posters, lobby cards, and press book.

Behind the scenes footage showing techniques used to combine live action with animation.

Original screen test for Aurora Miranda.

Plus much more produced exclusively for this DVD set.

    Thank you.

    Dan
