OK, this tournament is for your favorite 'character'. There's only 8 slots, all filled, no nominations. Discussion is encouraged (the more irreverant the better :)). Again, this is your favorite, not who'd win in a fight :).
First,
Gromit vs. Preston, the cyberdog

I can predict the winner of this whole tournament, but this will be fun.
Gromit, because metal dogs have a spring loose!

Gromit!!!
Seriously. Gromit could kick any dog's butt. Snoopy? Piece of cake! Underdog? Spare me! Goofy? No contest! Droopy? Pffft! Cujo? Dead meat! Pluto? Scooby Doo? Scrappy Doo?  Lassie? Toast. Rin Tin Tin? No way. Clifford? Not a problem. Shiloh? Easy pickin's! Wishbone? Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!! They would all tremble in fear before the mighty Gromit!

Grommit would soooo kick prestons tinny metal ass!

I'm rooting for the penguin. Does anyone else think that those old Bud Light (Ice?) commercials with the penguin were loosely based on the penguin from W&G? I've always thought that they were.

Doo-be-do-be-doo......

No need to delay this, Gromit wins.
Again, I suspect who'll win this tournament too, but half the fun is getting there, and you never know when there might be an upset.
Next,
Wallace vs. Wendolene Rumsbottom

Again, just to be clear,
This is NOT a "who would win in a fight", it's who's your favorite. Now if one of your criteria for being your favorite is that he/she could kick some ass, that's OK, but please remember you're voting for your fave.
I forgot to mention that the winner of the tournament gets a life-time supply of cheese. :)

I'll cast the tie-breaker for Feathers.
Our last match-up, two mechanical 'characters' :),
The Techno-Trousers vs. The Moon Creature
