I'm looking at mounting the N24's that came in my NSP1 package, and I want to make sure I do it right. Does any one have any experience with mounting these speakers on Drywall? What type of screws/anchors or additional equipment did you use? Thanks.

Use #6 or #8 molley bolts (insert and screw - Home Depot) .

    1) Pre-drill the holes (just large enough to start the insert) @ your chosen location
.... a) Use the N24 wall bracket as a guide - level it first

    2) Use a hammer to tap-in the inserts

    3) Pre-screw-in the screw to expand the insert behind the wall.

    4) Take out the screws and install the N24 omni-mount bracket.

Thanks for the reply and info. So would you say it is a difficult install? I'm doing a 7.1 install and all the surround speakers will be about 7' feet up(any opinions on the placement are greatly appreciated as well). Looks like I have my work cut out for me.

Man I wouldn't mind having all the space that you have. I think that my room is a about 12x14(maybe alittle bigger) with 8 foot ceilings, but hopefully this will do. The 7' measurement I gave was were I am putting the mounts, so from the bottom of the speaker it should be just over 6.5'. Thanks again for the help.

so you got the screws that came with anchors and you only put the screws in the dry wall only? And it holds up? Seemed kinda risky to me. How long has it been up?
