I've done a search of this forum (and other dvd related sites) and cannot seem to find out if WWPB is indeed full screen or 1.78:1 anamorphic like BBC's other "walking" discs. While Walking With Dinosaurs was listed as widescreen on the package, Warner neglected to list the aspect ratio on Allosaurus: A Walking With Dinosaurs Special (it is indeed 1.78:1, 16 x 9). So, what's the deal? Any info would be appreciated.

It's 1.78:1 anamorphic just like the others. Great show!

Like Julie said Darcy, it's 1.78:1 anamorphic and looks great. A little pricey but well done and nicely produced. My 9 year old stepdaughter loves this one just as much as Walking With Dinosaurs and When Dinosaurs Roamed America.

    Julie, Doug:

Thanks for the quick reply, for some reason it's very hard to find any reviews or proper info on this disc. I'm definitely going to pick this one up.

Make sure you guys all get the 2-DVD (4 part) set for "Blue Planet" done by the BBC and released just this month.

It doesn't state it on the box...but the discs sport glorious 16x9 anamorphic pictures.
