Wait a second, Walmart is selling Local Hero for $5 on DVD? I didn't even know Local Hero made to DVD at all! This is the one about the fishing village and the yuppie who goes there and falls in love, and the two brothers (pne magnate, one beach bum)?

If it is, I'm there...

When i look at this list, i think about stores like Suncoast who still sell most of these tiles for FULL retail.I guess id do full retail for a hard to find title, but i can get used to $10 or less for lesser and bare bones titles. My best find at a wal-mart was Airport 75 for $5...i love it! Best Buy gets 90% of my business though, and they will have good deals too!

Hmmm, the lure of not having to get off my butt is nearly offset by the desire to avoid large shipping charges. Hmmm, may have to try my local WM and see.

Thanks Scott

One that was mentioned already, and that my wife bought, but was left off your list is "The Poseidon Adventure (WS)"

Again:

That was not MY list.

I simply typed in all the titles listed under the $5.88 sale listed at walmart.com

...and now I regret going to the trouble.

Scott!

I appreciate the fact that you posted the list! AND, I even understand WHY you posted the list AND, WHERE the list came from! :emoji_thumbsup:

AND, I even believe that individual W-M stores may have titles that are not included in the list you posted. BUT, I still believe that the list you posted is fairly comprehensive and representative of what people MAY find at their local W-M.

As ALWAYS, its simply a case of "YMMV". ;)

But, I think I need to tell ya that at my local W-M, they had a bunch of titles..........

:D :D :D

Walmart has added even MORE titles to the bin and actually adding a second bin.

Some of the new titles added

RPM- starring Femke Jensen & David Arquette
Winstar Superman cartoons 2 DVD pak
Winstar Popeye cartoons 2 DVD pak

Scott,

I enjoyed Prime Gig as well, but enjoyed Boiler Room much much better.
But for what it is and what it costs, The Prime Gig is worth it and has replay value

Yesterday I grabbed the Popeye 2-pack, along with Hotel New Hampshire, Frank & Jesse, The Misfits, and something else that slips my mind at the moment...
