I read that W.B. greenlit the live action movie of The Jetsons. Rob Minkoff(Stuart Little) is said to direct.

Now, this could be interesting. If done properly and not done ridiculously like Flinstones.

The ONLY actor that can protray Mr. Spacely is Danny Devito.

Hell, he evem looks like him in real life.

The other actor I think could play George Jetson is Bill Pullman. They have that same look, figure(slenderness/face)

What do you guys/gals think?

I'm pretty convinced news of this and the Russell Crowe 'Hogan's Heroes' venture is a sign of a forthcoming Armageddon.

They were going to do a live-action "Jetsons" a long time ago, but ended up doing the animated "Jetsons: The Movie" instead.

BTW what was the deal with the Jetsons picture in the "DARYL" ads? I never figured that one out.

OK, Pullman and Devito are great choices.
Here would be my pics the other characters:
George: Bill Pullman
Jane: Carla Gugino
Judy: Kirsten Dunst
Elroy: Haley Joel Osment
Rosie: Janeane Garofalo
Spacely: Danny DeVito
Cogswell: James Woods
Henry Orbit: Steve Martin
What we'll probably get:
George: Matthew Broderick
Jane: Sarah Jessica Parker
Judy: Britney Spears
Elroy: Haley Joel Osment
Rosie: Rosie O'Donnell
Spacely: Freddie Prinze Jr.
Cogswell: Matthew Lillard
Henry Orbit: Wilford Brimley
:)

I agree with both lists totally.

Wouldn't it be great if the film was done like the Brady Bunch films and made fun of the series while being true to it?

I can see Hollywood putting in Rosie O Donnell's voice as Rosie the Maid.
