I have a new beetle so no steering wheel controls
I am just the opposite, I would want the steering wheel controls to seek the next channel to be more useful on trips
I no longer have my stock radio in my VW, I have a kenwood and sirius satilite radio, the head unit has a remote control (not really needed in a new beetle but I have had cars where the radio was out of comfortable reach)
I am actually waiting for the Passat TDI to show up so I can buy one
