People constantly use technology to point out problems which don't really exist.

My guess the problem would be to streamline your movie collection by having it on this set top box. For me this is a piece of technology that I would not want.

A lot of people are thinking about streaming their movies, from servers like this. Either Blu ray or HD DVD (maybe both) are talking about allowing the copying of their movies, specifically for this purpose.

There is an upside to doing this. Once the movie is on the server, you can store the dvd, and not worry about it getting damaged with scratches, fingerprints, etc.

So with the deal at Best Buy for 200 dollar credit on rentals, is it still not a good deal?
I was thinking maybe Apple TV, Netflix or Blockbuster as well. Netflix isnt HD yet, Apple is expensive, and Blockbuster you have to hook your computer up to a TV or projector. Each have there own issues.
My biggest question is, Is Vudu going to be around in the future? It has tough coemption.

I see the price has dropped to $149. Is it worth getting or is the company going to fail? The HDX movies look interesting.
