VSX-D811S bass management question. (1 Viewer)

I originally had a VSX-D811S with JBL N38 floor standing front speakers, JBL N24 surrounds and JBL N-Center. Not having a sub I had the front speakers set to large and the LFE sent to them. I recently purchased a sub to go along with my system. I noticed that there is a Plus setting for the sub and it states:


Does this mean that if I leave my fronts at Large and the sub on the Plus setting that everything under the crossover for the fronts will be sent to both the fronts and the sub? Or will it be that the LFE will be sent to both the sub and the fronts?

With a sub you are better off setting your speakers to small and just have the sub on. That is how I have my 811 setup...
