I am going with just the 5 speakers initially and they are all small, NHT Super Zeros. Is there any reason not to just set the speakers up as Small and SBCH off and run the MCACC keeping those speaker settings?

That's generally the best way to do it. All small and crossover set to 80Hz. My setup is similar, no surround backs. MCACC comes pretty close, but you should need to tweak the distance and channel levels some with a Radio Shack SPL meter.

Well, it won't be 80 Hz as the Superzeros don't go that low, but It confirms what I thought.
