On Pioneer's site, all it says is 120wpc into 6ohms, I know the Maggies are rated at a flat 4, I can't find anything saying the 39 will push 4ohms or not, common sense sort of says it will, but does anyone know for sure?
    thanx

If the pioneer can handle a 6 ohm speaker who's freq response would drop well below 4 ohms I'd say it should easily be able to power the MMG's.

I run an 27TX (which has the same ratings as the 39TX) with M&K 750's. These are 4 ohm. I have had no problems and the sound is great.
I think you would be okay/happy with the MMG's mated to the Elite. However, every where I've read Maggie people state they really open up with more power.
